Drax Power
Station, Selby (2004/05)
This contract involved a High Level Conveyor
Link building, and the requirement was to remove
the existing cladding and re-clad in new
materials.
This was a very high working environment (160ft)
so safety was paramount.
Also, the conveyor was in motion during
construction - carrying coal.
The job was finished on time and without
incident.
The client was Matsui Babcock, and they were
extremely satisfied.
